Career Biography

Akib Jawad is a Barrister-at-Law who was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2021 by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London, UK, having completed his Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) (PGDip) at Northumbria University, UK. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London, UK.

Akib specializes in legal vetting, drafting, research and analysis while having effective communication skills. Alongside his legal practice, he is a Lecturer in law & Programme Coordinator at Newcastle Law Academy.

Akib has participated in the North South University Law Fest Seminar hosted by NSULMS in 2017. He has hosted and produced online legal talk shows while his involvement extends beyond law to cultural sectors including his artistic pursuits.
